Los Angeles-based public radio station KCRW has announced the line-up for this year's KCRW Showcases at SXSW, kicking off the convention with two official showcases - Tuesday, March 13, at Elysium, and Wednesday, March 14, at the Radio Day Stage.
Both showcases are open to anyone with a festival badge or wristband (no RSVP required).
During the festival, tune in to Morning Becomes Eclectic as KCRW's on-site crew - Jason Bentley, Anne Litt and José Galván - share their favorite musical discoveries and interviews from the scene. In addition, Litt will bring the spirit of SXSW onto the airwaves for both of her weekend shows (noon - 3pm).
The KCRW Music Blog will have preview coverage of bands to keep an eye on, as well as photos, videos and more throughout the fest. Stay up to the minute on Instagram @kcrw for more exclusive SXSW content.
