August 30, 2015 marked exactly forty years since KC and The Sunshine Band's 70s decade-defining and transcendent dance hit "Get Down Tonight," topped the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, marking the band's first mega No. 1 hit that would spawn several more, and an over forty year career that's still going today. Now, for the first time in 31 years, the Miami-born group led by Harry Wayne "KC" Casey celebrates their first Billboard chart single in 31 years in "I Love You More," currently at No. 30 on the Billboard Dance Chart.
The electronic and techno-infused "I Love You More," a Tony Moran & Mike Lorello radio mix, is gaining popularity among DJs and dance clubs from coast to coast. Penned by Casey, he never expected the tremendous reaction it's been getting.
"In 2013 I woke up out of some sort of musical coma. And started writing again with the energy I had forty years ago. 'I Love You More' is a result of this new energy and path that I am currently on. The song is about having so much love for someone that each day it continues to grow," said Casey.
