Justin Mortellitti, singer, songwriter and actor whose credits include Roger in the West Coast Regional Premier of RENT and Drew in the Las Vegas run of Rock of Ages, is preparing to release his second EP The Prince of April in Summer 2014.

The five-song The Prince of April EP is Mortelliti's first musical release in seven years, following the 2007 release of The Fall and Rise. Music from his first EP has been placed in two feature films and getting FM radio play in the pacific region. The biggest hit from the EP, "The Fall," broke into the Top 20 on Highway Radio's Highway Vibe and is used as the theme song to the web series "Gossip Boy."

"Mortelliti is a born rock belter with a nice guy countenance," according the Las Vegas Review Journal, speaking to singing chops on full display in Rock of Ages. Roles in RENT, Happy Days: The Musical, the highly acclaimed "For the Record" concert series tribute shows to Paul Thomas Anderson, "Boogie Nights" and "Scorsese in Concert" all showcase terrific musical acumen.

Dramatically, his role of Jared in the world premiere of "Expected to Fly" has been praised as "mesmerizing, masculine, volatile, and filled with insightful sophistication and raw energy" by LA Theater Review. Yahoo Voices called Mortelliti's gifted performance "flawless, completely natural and realistic in every way".

He has appeared in the CBS hit Numb3rs, feature film The Collection, the Batman short film Puppet Master and short film Negotiations; where he was nominated for Best Actor at The Method Film Festival. His role of Dylan Klebold in the off-Broadway production of The Columbine Project led to him winning the Artistic Director's Achievement Award for Best Lead Actor.

Being involved in acting and music from the tender age of 10, Mortelliti developed his talents through the prestigious acting conservatory in the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and The London Academy of Theater in the UK.

Mortelliti's The Prince of April will release summer 2014.
