Five years since its debut, Justin Furstenfeld (frontman of Blue October) continues his impassioned and captivating "An Open Book" tour with dates through February 18th. "An Open Book" is comprised of stories from the critically-acclaimed musician who is deeply aware of his past, but has a passionate focus on the present. The audience gets to experience the hilarity of his high school years, the intensity of the early days of touring, and the extremes brought on by his struggle with (and ultimately his recovery from) drug addiction. Placed throughout the performance are formidable stripped-down versions of Blue October songs complete with live footnotes that are perfectly woven into the lyrics, adding exceptional context and elevating each word to impress a grander understanding.
Additionally, Blue October has announced a string of US tour dates starting April 18th in Little Rock, AR. Over the course of twenty-two shows, the band will see there way through the Midwest and East Coast, ending the run on May 20th at the Baltimore Soundstage.
