Josie Dunne Releases New Single MUTE Image

Atlantic recording artist Josie Dunne has released her newest single, "Mute." The track is available today at all digital music retailers and streaming services; a companion visual is streaming now on the Nashville-based singer-songwriter's official YouTube channel HERE. "Mute" marks Josie's first release since last year's debut EP, "TO BE THE LITTLE FISH."

Josie will spend much of this year on the road, including festival appearances and support runs alongside Ben Rector and Julia Michaels. Dates get underway February 28th at Louisville, KY's Brown Theatre and then continue into the spring. For complete details, please see www.josiedunne.com. Previous tours include direct support for Andy Grammer on his "The Good Parts Tour" and select dates with John Splithoff.

Hailed by Flaunt for "harnessing the raw honesty and emotion of soul music and a catchy pop beat," Dunne recently teamed with Big Beat recording artist Matoma for the hit single, "Sunday Morning (Feat. Josie Dunne)." The track has proven a hit, with over 7 million streams in the U.S. alone.

"TO BE THE LITTLE FISH," sees the Nashville-based Dunne marrying her love of Motown and brassy soul with contemporary pop energy and classic songcraft, including collaborations with such Music City luminaries as Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift, The Band Perry) and Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello) - is highlighted by Dunne's breakthrough pop hits, "Old School" and "Good Boys." "Good Boys" is joined by an equally delightful companion visual that premiered exclusively via hourly airings on MTVU and MTV Live, not to mention featured placement on the famous 1515 Broadway digital billboard in New York City's Times Square.
