Delaware-based emerging songwriter JOSHUA SPEERS today releases his debut single "Bad Night" via The Orchard. The track is a thrilling introduction to one of the most exciting artists of 2019, who promises a string of equally anthemic songs to be released next year.
Says Speers about the song, "'Bad Night' is about embracing anxiety and fear in order to overcome that darkness. It's a loud, windows-down response to my demons--daring them to bring me down."
The song was produced by Lars Stalfors (St. Vincent, Lil Peep, Bob Moses)and Andy Seltzer, who honed in on the core elements of Speers' sound - honest, expansive, soaring and yet intimate, a product of years spent finding himself on the road around the American Northeast, often sleeping at rest stops getting from gigs to work the next day.
The track is accompanied by a stunning video directed by Fraser Jones and shot at a motocross rally in Calhoun Motocross outside of Atlanta, GA.
