The RRazz Room, San Francisco's premier nightclub, will present three time Grammy Award winner Jon Secada from tonight, June 21 to June 24.

One of the most versatile and talented singers and songwriters in today's Latin and US music world, he co-wrote on #1 hits "Coming out of the Dark" (Gloria Estefan), "Bella" (Ricky Martin), and "Baila" (Jennifer Lopez). He has starred on Broadway in Grease, Cabaret and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and has been a star judge on Latin America's American Idol for 3 years. For his show, Jon will feature music both from his newest Spanish album, Otra Vez, as well as from his new English Album, I'm Never Too Far Away, produced by Rudy Perez.

He earned both a B.A. and a M.A. in jazz vocal performance at the University of Miami. Becoming involved with Gloria Estefan's career, he co-wrote six songs on her multi-platinum 1991 album Into the Light, among them the number one hit "Coming out of the Dark," and sang backup vocals on her subsequent tour. His self-titled debut album Jon Secada (SBK/EMI), released in 1992, skyrocketed the career of this male vocalist. This first album sold an astonishing six million plus copies worldwide and was certified triple platinum in the U.S., where it reached No. 15 among Billboard Pop albums. He later scored a No.5 Pop hit with the Gold single "Just Another Day," and three more top 30 hits, "Angel," "I'm Free," and "Do You Believe in Us?"

With only one album, he became one of the biggest adult contemporary artists of the '90s, selling over six million albums worldwide. As well as becoming a huge English-language pop star, he became one of the hottest Latin artists recording in the '90s; Otro Día Más Sin Verte (a Spanish-language version of Jon Secada) was Billboard's number one Latin album in 1992 and won a Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album. His second English-language album, Heart, Soul & a Voice (1994), sold over a million copies. Amor (1995), his second Spanish-language album, won him another Grammy.

The Rrazz Room at Hotel Nikko is located at 222 Mason Street, San Francisco, Calif. Secada's show plays Thursday, June 21 at 8:00 PM, Friday, June 22 at 8:00 PM, Saturday, June 23 at 8:00 PM and Sunday, June 24 at 7:00 PM.
