Seven-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician John Mayer has announced that he will take part in a Tumblr "Dashboard Confessions" Q&A on Friday November 22 at 7pm ET. Mayer is the first artist to take part in the new Tumblr series, with the live interview taking place on his Tumblr blog (Jhnmyr.tumblr.com) and also reblogged on music.tumblr.com. Users can ask questions starting today and watch the interview unfold through their dashboards on Friday when John logs in and posts answers to submitted questions. Each piece of the Q&A is rebloggable and can travel through the dashboards of the 150M+ blogs on Tumblr.

Mayer will participate in the Tumblr Q&A the same night that he embarks on a second leg of headlining US tour dates, performing that night in Lincoln, NE and wrapping up in Brooklyn, NY at the Barclays Center on December 17. John Mayer Live In Concert, his first tour following a three-year hiatus, kicked off this summer to sellout crowds and rave reviews. The tour marks his first time playing songs on the road from 2012's acclaimed Born and Raised as well as his recently released sixth studio album, Paradise Valley. A full list of upcoming tour dates is below.

Collectively, Mayer's albums-Room for Squares, Heavier Things, Continuum, live album Where the Light Is, Battle Studies, Born and Raised, and Paradise Valley-have sold over 20 million copies worldwide. Mayer has garnered seven Grammy Awards and eleven nominations, and he was honored in Washington, D.C. by the Recording Academy for his philanthropic work on behalf of both U.S. military veterans and young people interested in music. Additionally, he has been included in Time Magazine's annual Time 100 list of the most influential contemporary thinkers, leaders, artists and entertainers, and twice been featured on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine's annual Guitar issue. A musician who confounds genre boundaries, John Mayer has performed and/or recorded with an extraordinary range of artists from the worlds of rock, blues, hip-hop, jazz, and country including Eric Clapton, BB King, Buddy Guy, T-Bone Burnett, Herbie Hancock, Dixie Chicks, The Roots, Jay Z, Frank Ocean, and Alicia Keys.
