The John Denver Estate marks the twentieth anniversary of Denver's untimely death on October 12 with a slew of new releases and programs including a new single, an album release, two museum exhibits and new availability of Denver's 1994 autobiography.

Denver recorded a version of the Judy Collins track in the early '90s and sent her a demo of his interpretation. The John Denver Estate unearthed the master recording in 2016 and are releasing it as a tribute to Denver on this anniversary.
On December 1, John Denver: The Windstar Greatest Hits will be made available on vinyl and digital services, with a blue vinyl edition sold exclusively at Cracker Barrel Stores. This greatest hits package features eleven of Denver's most beloved songs including "Calypso," "Annie's Song" and "Take Me Home, Country Roads." These versions were re-recorded by Denver in the '90s.
Additionally, Denver's 1994 biography Take Me Home is now available on Kindle and paperback, while the Audible.com audiobook is read by Denver himself, and The Woody Guthrie Center, in conjunction with The Grammy Museum, is hosting an exhibit of Denver memorabilia.
