Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers and Rebel Records are excited to present the band's newest focus track from their hit album, The Story We Tell. Penned by prominent song-smith Gerald Evans, "Songs That'll Get 'Em" is available to radio now and has become a mantra of the band known for presenting songs with a message world-wide for the last 12 years.
The Story We Tell, released August 2017, is the band's sixth album and most successful to date, having debuted at #5 on Billboard's Top Ten Albums chart (9/9/17) and remaining on the National Bluegrass Survey's Top 15 Albums chart 13 consecutive months. With such an accomplished album to their credit, "Songs That'll Get 'Em" will be the fourth focus track from the project, a first in the band's history of recording.
Of "Songs That'll Get 'Em," Joe Mullins says, "This song hits a few familiar themes that always inspire us; cars, mother, Kentucky, true love, Jesus, and eternity. But it does so in a very unique way, allowing the singer and the audience to make a personal connection. That's the goal each time we go on stage or in the recording studio!"
The band is fresh off a stellar performance during the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Awards held just last night in Raleigh, NC as part of a week long conference and music festival. JMRR performed their hit song, "If I'd Have Wrote That Song," penned by Larry Cordle, Larry Shell, and James Silvers. Later in the evening, they won their first ever Song of the Year award for the same title.
