J&R Adventures announced today that Joe Bonamassa will be taking The Great Stage at Radio City for the first time in his career for a two night run tonight, January 23 and Saturday, January 24, 2015. Hailed worldwide as one of the greatest guitar players of his generation, Joe Bonamassahas almost single-handedly redefined the blues-rock genre and brought it into the mainstream. He will perform in concert for the very first time at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on January 23 and 24.

This two-night-only engagement is in support of his brand new studio album Different Shades Of Blue (J&R Adventures), which is Bonamassa's first studio album in two years and the first of his career to feature all original material.Different Shades of Blue debuted at #8 on Billboard's Top 200 Chart, #1 on Billboard's Blues Chart, and #1 on Billboard's Indie Chart. Tickets are on sale now for this unforgettable engagement.

These two shows (which will be filmed for PBS and Palladia) are the culmination and the finale of Bonamassa's special half acoustic-half electric tour, which he has showcased around the world for the past year. The first set has Bonamassa playing alongside the acoustic band from his #1 Billboard CD/DVD An Acoustic Evening At The Vienna Opera House with an assortment of rare, vintage, organic and "oddball" instruments. He then shifts into electric mode for the second set with his regular touring band.

As Joe Bonamassa approaches his 26th year as a professional musician, he continues to blaze a remarkably versatile artistic trail, and amass an authentic, innovative and soulful body of work. Bonamassa's career began onstage opening for B.B. King in 1989 when he was only 12 years old. Today he is hailed worldwide as one of the greatest guitar players of his generation and is an ever-evolving singer-songwriter who has released 15 solo albums in the last 13 years, all on his own label, J&R Adventures.
