Following a fantastic premiere earlier this summer, Cool Britannia Festival will be back at Knebworth in 2019. The festival will take place at the stately home of rock from Friday 30th August - Sunday 1st September 2019.
We are happy to announce that TV and radio presenter Jo Whiley will curate the Main Stage on Saturday 31st August.
With some acts already booked, Early Bird Tickets went on sale in early October 2018 via www.coolbritanniafest.com. The Cool Britannia 2019 line-up will be announced in late January.
Cool Britannia 2018 was headlined on the main stage by Happy Mondays and Ocean Colour Scene and saw the sets of Feeder, Razorlight, Embrace, The Lightning Seeds, Peter Hook & The Light, Cast, Heather Small, Dodgy, Space, Toploader and The South.
The festival also saw the premier of 'Britpop Classical' which featured a full orchestra together with rock band and guest soloists including The Farm's Peter Hooton, Republica's Saffron and Heaven 17's Glenn Gregory and Phil Daniels.
Cool Britannia also teamed up with the legendary Ministry of Sound. Housed in the Big Top, they featured some of the best club DJs of the era including Todd Terry, Brandon Block, Jazzie B and Alfredo. Each night there were appearances by a host of club classic stars including Black Box, N-Trance, Rozalla, Alison Limerick, Angie Brown and Urban Cookie Collective.
Cool Britannia continues to tend to the needs of rock and dance music fans in 2019 with camping, glamping, street food, themed bars, street entertainers, funfairs, kid-zone, fireworks, trade stands, karaoke and much more!
