Country Now, the most viewed and highest-rated dedicated country music YouTube channel, is set to premiere an exclusive 'Live From Blackbird' performance from multi-Platinum selling country star Jo Dee Messina.
The episode, filmed in June at Nashville's historic Blackbird Studios, features Messina performing truly moving renditions of some of her biggest hits including her debut single "Heads Carolina, Tails California," "Lesson in Leavin'" and her #1 smash hit "Bring On the Rain."
Messina, who is currently on the road in support of her album ME, has been working on a brand new single and a special acoustic version of her exclusively performing it for Country Now will be released soon. Clips will begin airing today at http://bit.ly/1MybHrp.
"The setup that Country Now created at Blackbird Studios was so great, allowing me the opportunity to play my songs in an acoustic, organic environment that really enabled the songs to shine," said Jo Dee. "I am very happy with the outcome!"
"Jo Dee's performance was really phenomenal," said Dominic Sandifer, President Country Now/Greenlight Media & Marketing. "It captured the essence of what 'Live from Blackbird' is all about -- passionate musicianship and a voice that is as amazing as it has ever been."
Since breaking onto the music scene Messina has had six #1 songs including "I'm Alright," "Bring On The Rain" (a duet with Tim McGraw), "That's The Way," "Bye Bye," "Stand Beside Me" and "My Give A Damn's Busted," as well as thirteen Top 20 singles.
