Two-time GRAMMY nominated songwriter and pianist, Jim Brickman, will be hosting the inaugural Brickman Bootcamp for Songwriters to help artists increase their knowledge of music business, improve their skills and learn from other industry hit-makers. Sponsored by Sound Royalties, the boot camp will take place July 26 through July 29 at the Brickhouse Network Studio.
The program will kick off with an opening night welcome party and concert featuring Jim Brickman, followed by a question and answer portion. Throughout the weekend, there will be multiple sessions that will help creatives learn more about the ins and outs of the music business, provide opportunities to collaborate with experienced industry professionals and tangible tips on how to improve performance skills. The bootcamp will also feature guest speakers such as songwriter and collaborator Luke McMaster.
To close out the bootcamp, participants will have a chance to perform their song live at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: Songwriter Showcase.
"I'm extremely excited to provide this opportunity to songwriters who are looking to take their skills to the next level," said Brickman. "With the support of Sound Royalties, participants will have a thrilling experience and will be provided with knowledge and skills that will last a lifetime."
Sound Royalties Founder and CEO Alex Heiche added: "Jim is a remarkably talented songwriter and pianist that has always been a great friend to Sound Royalties and advocate for musicians. We commend him on taking the initiative to organize and host such a beneficial event and we look forward to seeing the talent that sprouts from it."
Registration for the bootcamp is now live and will close on July 1. For more information on how to register and to view the schedule of events visit here.
