Jazz / Pop vocalist and musician Mister Fred has announced the release of his full length recording Golden Age. Renowned for his smooth soulful voice and versatility as a musician, Golden Age displays the gifts of a brilliant songwriter and composer. The songs vary in style, from a classic soul vibe ( Rhianna's producer described the track "Betty (A Place To Sleep)" as "Steely Dan and Van Morrision take a road trip to Memphis"), to Big Band be-bop, from a haunting song that could fit on a Spaghetti Western soundtrack to a romantic ballad that will tug at the heart, Golden Age is a musical journey that bears repeated listening. Produced by Andy Bassford and including performances by Grammy Award nominated guitarist Gil Parris; banjo player Eric Weissberg (theme from the movie Deliverance "Dueling Banjos"); tenor sax player Joel Frahm and vocalist Mala Waldron, Golden Age is a gift for music lovers searching for great new songs and music.
