Directed by Derulo, David Strbik and Jeremy Strong, the cinematic video follows two main characters as they go on a quest for companionship. After spending the night together, the two travel through separate storylines, each searching for a way to come back together. They journey through colorful, beautifully choreographed party scenes and an elaborate but lonely dinner until finally reuniting at one of Derulo's European tour dates.
The official music video for "Goodbye" follows the previously released animated lyric video that has surpassed 50 million views in less than three months.
Since its release, "Goodbye" has had a massive radio launch, becoming the #1 most added at Top 40 and the #1 most added at Rhythm in New York, LA, Chicago, San Francisco, DC, Atlanta, Boston, and Miami.
