Jarlath Regan Announces Nationwide Tour ft. Fringe Show ORGAN FREEMAN Image

Following a critically acclaimed, sell out run at this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe, award-winning comedian and podcaster Jarlath Regan has announced a nationwide tour with his new show Organ Freeman, including a performance at London's Leicester Square Theatre on 19th January.

Organ Freeman tells the story of how the limits of Jarlath's fraternal love were tested when his brother needed a kidney transplant. Despite the show's existence pre-emptively spoiling such dramatic cliff-hangers as 'will Jarlath die?' (he didn't), Organ Freeman still provides "as much heart as it has laughs" , as Jarlath grapples with the kind of life-or-death moral dilemma that most comedians can only dream of experiencing when writing a show.

Organ Freeman is the ninth solo show Jarlath has taken to the Edinburgh Fringe, and as well as touring the UK and Ireland he has performed stand-up around the world, with appearances at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, New Zealand Comedy Festival, Melbourne Comedy Festival and Adelaide Fringe. Jarlath was a finalist in both the BBC and Channel 4 New Comedy Awards, and earlier this year was named Irish Tatler's Man of the Year in Comedy. On TV he has appeared on Tonight at The Palladium (ITV), Russell Howard's Good News (BBC Two), Last Comic Standing (NBC) and Stand-Up Central (Comedy Central). Jarlath is also the creator and host of the award-winning An Irishman Abroad podcast, which has seen him interview Irish emigrants and people of Irish heritage including Roisin Conaty, Chris O'Dowd, Sharon Horgan, Sir Bob Geldof, Graham Linehan, Sarah Millican and Dylan Moran, topping the iTunes Podcast Chart and receiving critical acclaim from publications such as The Guardian, Telegraph and Irish Times.
