Usmagazine.com reports that Janet Jackson is postponing the second leg of her Unbreakable world tour indefinitely. The reason? Her doctors have ordered Ms. Jackson to rest up due to her "planning a family" with her husband. Does this mean the 49 year-old icon is pregnant? She took to Facebook on Wednesday, April 6th, to explain.

"Hey, you guys. On August 31, I launched the Unbreakable World Tour," the Grammy-winning singer started her video message. "First, I just want to thank all the fans for coming out to see the show."

"We're in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you would be the first to know," she went on. "My husband and I are planning our family, so I'm going to have to delay the tour," she revealed. "Please, if you can try and understand that it's important that I do this now, I have to rest up, doctor's orders! But I have not forgotten about you," she reassured her followers.

Jackson married Qatari business magnate Wissam Al Mana, 41, in 2012 and while the revelation does not make clear whether the couple is expecting a baby, or just trying to start a family, Jackson seems to be in high spirits after dodging rumors about her health earlier in the year.

Janet Jackson is an American singer, songwriter, dancer and actress. Known for a series of sonically innovative, socially conscious and sexually provocative records, as well as elaborate stage shows, television and film roles, she has been a prominent figure in popular culture for over 30 years. The youngest child of the Jackson family, she began her career with the variety television series The Jacksons in 1976 and went on to appear in other television shows throughout the 1970s and early 1980s, including Good Times and Fame.

After signing a recording contract with A&M Records in 1982, she became a pop icon following the release of her third studio album Control (1986). Her collaborations with record producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis incorporated elements of rhythm and blues, funk, disco, rap, and industrial beats, which led to crossover success in popular music.
