"I recently took an online personality test that told me I was an extravert, and that's crazy to me, but I guess growth is real and maybe I'm not the same vulnerability fearing dude I was when I wrote this song. This song exists 'cause love can be very real and very complicated at the same time, and this collaboration exists because Charlotte's my favorite and making this record together was as uncomplicated as anything ever," says JP.
JP Saxe is an R&B leaning, lyric-obsessed artist hailing from Toronto. His original version of 'The Few Things' garnered over 8M streams on Spotify alone, and peaked at #6 on the Global Viral chart, #5 in the US, and #2 in Sweden & Switzerland. 'The Few Things' was named a Baeble Song of The Day and We Found New Music claims JP is 'remarkable.'
In celebration of new music JP will be taking the stage again for a cause, this time joining An Evening With To Write Love On Her Arms in the South East starting tomorrow night. To Write Love on Her Arms is a nonprofit dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. It exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.
After a short break, JP Saxe is excited to announce he will be supporting Harry Hudson on the Can Cowboys Cry tour which kick off in Portland, OR on November 7th and keeps JP on the road until December 16th. A full list of dates can be found below.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Charlotte Lawrence is a rising pop star with a dark edge. She has already racked up millions of streams with breakout songs "Just The Same" and "Sleep Talking," two viral hits which perfectly capture her trojan horse approach to music, as she packs in deeply personal lyrics through irresistible melodies and festival-headlining choruses. Documenting the teenage experience from the frontline is what Charlotte does best and she puts lyrics above all else when it comes to writing. "I'm not fake with it", she says citing Lorde, SZA, Patti Smith, and Bon Iver as inspirations. Charlotte has spent the past few years writing and recording while finding her musical voice. What has emerged is a love of melody twinned with a darker aesthetic. Earlier this year, Charlotte released her debut EP YOUNG and is currently on her first world tour opening for singer-songwriter Lauv.
