Stoic. Tough. Testosterone-y. These are all words you can use to describe "Into the Wild," the newest slice of resilient, Emersonian man-rock from Swedish duo Johnossi.
It brings a tear to our eyes to be premiering this song, because in addition to being men, we are also in touch with our feelings. This is a song for staring wistfully into the distance on top of a mountain while growing a beard and calmly sting an entire Slim Jim.
Johnossi is set to drop Transitions, their first US release in nearly 8 years, on April 29th, 2014. For the new album, the band added strings and invited The Soundtrack of Our Lives founding member and keyboardist Martin Hedros to join them in the studio.
In addition, they enlisted the help of Peter Bjorn and John's Bjorn Yttling and Miike Snow's Pontus Winnberg to act as executive producers. For more information on Johnossi or to request a copy of the album, please contact Stunt Company!
