This Valentine's Day, forget the chocolate and the roses cause Jason Dottley has a reason for all to celebrate. Dottley is sharing the love with his fans across the world with his new pop-dance single, "It's Our Night" which debuted on Shakefire.com.
The video, which Dottley puts both acting and singing skills to work in, portrays him as a Bond-esque charater fighting his way to have his night with his leading lady played by model Kiersten Hall. Produced by Emmy-winning producer Andy Dugan and shot by Emmy-winning DP Rick Darge, Dottley decided to collaborate for a second time with Nicholas Lam who directed the video. This song is the first single off of Dottley's upcoming album, Love Story, which is due out later this fall.
Dottley has continued to have a successful career both in music and acting here in the U.S. and across the pond. Well known for his days on the show, Sordid Lives: The Series, Dottley branched out to singing professionally as well. His music career took off running and he landed in the Top 20 of the Billboard Dance Charts in 2010, eventually spending 27 weeks on the charts over the next two years. Later, he became a Top 10 UK Recording Artist in the spring of 2012. The singer/actor has also delved into the world of producing, having helped produce Oscar Winner, Octavia Spencer, in "The Trials and Tribulations of a Trailer Trash Housewife."
After a long and turbulent divorce recently to his husband of eight years, Del Shores, the multi-talented star is ready to get back into the music world with his new single and album. Dottley is excited to soon be performing in clubs around the country. Check out the video for "It's Our Night" here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JKyXgMBWOo.
