International Queen of Burlesque, Dita Von Teese, announced today that she will be thrilling fans once again with her new 2018 'Dita Von Teese and the Copper Coupe' tour, in partnership with luxury vodka Absolut Elyx. The tour will feature stunning new acts inspired by Absolut Elyx with special guest performers including Gia Genevieve, Dirty Martini, Ginger Valentine, Jett Adore, Zelia Rose and more! The new 'Dita Von Teese and the Copper Coupe' show will be infused with glimmering copper elements throughout, inspired by Absolut Elyx and its unique copper distilling process for the luxury vodka. The grand finale act will feature the new 'Copper Coupe,' part of her stunning signature cocktail glass act with a new giant shimmering copper filigree cocktail coupe adorned with Swarovski crystal. Another Elyx inspired act will see Dita appearing in a giant-sized seashell on stage with 1,200 pearl balloons that float from the sky. Dita dances with a six-foot bubble pearl, a modern tribute to Sally Rand's iconic 1930s era bubble dance. The costume, created by British designer Jenny Packham, sparkles with thousands of hand-placed Swarovski crystals and pearls. The shoes are a fetishistic masterpiece created by Christian Louboutin just for Dita's performance.

Dita will also be debuting her most extravagant fully crystallized gown to date, an astonishing Catherine D'Lish creation with copper embellishments and featuring extra-large, fancy-cut Aurora Borealis Swarovski crystal. Other new elements of the 'Dita Von Teese and the Copper Coupe' tour will include an epic new striptease soundtrack, with new songs created exclusively for Dita including a trio of burlesque tribute songs inspired by legendary artists George Michael, Amy Winehouse and Prince.

A new haute-fetish striptease act inspired by one of Dita's favorite artists, John Willie, and features bespoke fetish boots created By Christian Louboutin exclusively for her in their Paris atelier, with Swarovski crystallized signature red soles, plus custom-made jeweled spurs. The slick patent leather costume, made by Dark Garden Corsetry of San Francisco with accessories by Catherine D'Lish and House of Canney is sure to make a captivating impression! Dita rides astride a giant red lipstick to and electronic soundtrack including a soon to be released Nathan Buillion remix of Dita's song 'Bird Of Prey,' composed and written by Sebastien Tellier. This provocative new act will also feature it's namesake song "Lipteese", created by Andrew Armstrong of the band Monarchy and showcasing Dita's voice.

"It's always a thrill to create new acts, exploring new ideas that capture the spirit of vintage burlesque that we love, but in ways that haven't ever been seen before. It was especially enjoyable to infuse elements of Absolut Elyx's fabulous style with the ideas for the new acts. People know me for my cocktail glass acts, so it was fun to create one around the glamorous and whimsical copper imagery that is instantly recognizable with their brand. I can't wait for fans to see the new costumes, which are blinding sparkly, thanks to my favorite designers and Swarovski. I'm especially fired up to be bringing my show to cities I've never performed before!"

Speaking about the partnership with Dita and the 'Copper Coupe' tour, Absolut Elyx's Creative Director Miranda Dickson said, "We're so excited to work with someone who is as creative and magical as Dita Von Teese. When we're looking for people to work with, she stands out as the perfect collaboration for us, her persona and talent truly embody the spirit of Absolut Elyx. We couldn't think of a better partner to help bring our brand to life."

Each show throughout the tour will showcase the stunning visuals of the exclusive acts that have made Von Teese the consummate performer in modern burlesque, captivating the imagination and transporting audiences worldwide.

Also joining the 'Dita Von Teese and the Copper Coupe' tour is special guest Gia Genevieve, renowned Playboy covergirl and Guess model. The effervescent blonde recently made her burlesque debut performing Dita's bubble bath act, receiving accolades from burlesque fans and fantastic reviews. Joining Dita is a phenomenal, eclectic supporting cast of today's brightest stars of burlesque, with tassel-twirling fan favorite Dirty Martini and burlesque star Ginger Valentine performing with one of Dita's most beloved signature acts, "My Heart Belongs to Daddy", Jett Adore brings the house down with his well-known "best boylesque act ever created!", and Australian import Zelia Rose captivates the audiences with her incredible dance talent. Vontourage's Alek Palinski & Elio Martinez will appear throughout the 2 hour show with numbers that showcase their magnificent dance talent. The evening will be hosted by comedian and singer Jonny McGovern, creator of the popular YouTube channel "Hey Qween!"
