Indie Rock Outfit, THE HEAD, Kick Off Fall Tour Dates

Critically acclaimed Indie Rock outfit, THE HEAD, are gearing up to embark on the second leg of their lengthy Fall tour, which sees the group traveling throughout the East Coast the South. In 2015, the group booked and embarked on 75-date tour spanning the U.S., and outdid themselves again in 2016 with an impressive 103 shows.

Consisting of twins Mike (lead vocals/bass) and Jack Shaw (drums), alongside Jacob Morell (guitar), the band has shared the stage with the likes of Primal Scream, Cracker, Steve Wynn and the Miracle 3, and Those Darlins. In 2015 we saw the band releasing their self-produced EP, Millipedes, which earned them praise from the likes of PureVolume and Under the Radar, as well as an appearance at SXSW.

Drawing inspiration from artists such as The Stone Roses, Talking Heads, Elliot Smith REM and beyond, the group produce a prominent Dance-infused-Indie sound, that waltzes the lines of lighthearted and dark tendencies. Their lyricism draws influence from across the board as The Head touches upon topics current events, books, nature, movies and relationships.
