Colorado-based acoustic quintet Elephant Revival is about to embark on a spring tour including several notable festival appearances. But first the band makes a  stop at eTown, the internationally syndicated, recorded-live Boulder, Colo., radio show, and delivers several showcases at the International Folk Alliance Conference, February 24-26 in Memphis, Tenn.

Touring behind its sophomore release, BREAK IN THE CLOUDS, Elephant Revival recently received raves from Bluegrass LA, which reported, “Elephant Revival is playing at their very best. The Colorado quintet dabbles in many genres: bluegrass, Americana, psychedelic folk, country, and the list continues. They’ll hit you with five-part harmonies in one song and follow it with a Scottish fiddle instrumental with the next one. Folk ballads, old-time standards or blues jams exploding with strings; Elephant Revival is a refreshing take on the roots music scene.”

Elephant Revival members are: Bonnie Paine (vocals, washboard, djembe and musical saw); Sage Cook (electric banjo/guitar, acoustic guitar, mandolin, viola and vocals); Dango Rose (double-bass, mandolin, banjo and vocals); Daniel Rodriguez (acoustic guitar, electric banjo/guitar and vocals); and Bridget Law (fiddle and vocals).
