Imagem Music USA, home to the Elvis Presley and Sammy Cahn catalogues as well as such talent as Ludacris, Phil Collins, Genesis, Anna Nalick, Steve Robson, Jens Gad, Temper Trap and more, has signed a worldwide, multi-year administration and co-publishing agreement with songwriter/ producer Phil Galdston.

Phil Galdston’s songs and productions have appeared on nearly 70 million records worldwide, in recordings by artists ranging from Celine Dion to Sheryl Crow, from Aaron Neville to Beyoncé, from Brandy to Esperanza Spalding. “Save the Best For Last,” recorded by Vanessa Williams (one of seven of his songs she has recorded), simultaneously toppedBillboard's three major charts, was nominated for the GRAMMY® for Song of the Year, and received several ASCAP honors, including Song of the Year. At over 3,500,000 airplay performances to date, and with continuous uses across many media, it is one of the classic songs of this, or any, era.

The recipient of the Grand Prize of the American Song Festival, two Nashville Songwriters' Association citations, a Cable ACE nomination, a DOVE Award nomination, and four ASCAP awards, Phil’s work has been featured on recordings that have garnered 14 GRAMMY® nominations. He was honored with a prestigious “Time For Peace Award” for “Fly,” which appears on Celine Dion's number one, 28 times-platinum, GRAMMY®-winning album, Falling Into You (one of five of his songs Dion has recorded). “One Voice” was featured on Brandy's multi-platinum, chart-topping album, Never S-A-Y Never, and served as the theme music for Brandy’s role as UNICEF spokesperson. Phil’s work has recently appeared in recordings by Chicago, Yolanda Adams, Constantine Maroulis, and Kurt Elling, and in numerous films and TV shows.

Phil is an active citizen of the music community, as well. He was recently appointed the first member of the Songwriting Faculty in the Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions of NYU’s Steinhardt School and the first Songwriter-in-Residence in NYU’s history. He is the founder, curator, and moderator of the SONGWRITERS HALL OF FAME MASTER SESSIONS AT NYU, whose guests have included Hal David, Jimmy Webb, and Glenn Frey.  He is a committed member of both ASCAP and The Recording Academy, where he serves, or has served, as national Trustee, N.Y. Chapter President and Vice President, Chapter Governor, and as co-chair of the Academy’s national Strategic Planning Committee.

“I’m thrilled to bring my catalogue and my latest and future songs into a new and exciting creative and business partnership with Imagem,” said Galdston. “Their  team of contemporary, synch, and theatrical music professionals who take a global view of a global business, is unique in the field.”

"We are very happy to welcome Phil to the Imagem family,“ said Richard Stumpf, President of Imagem Music USA.   “Not many writers have Phil's keen sense of melody, his lyrical gifts, and his overall musical delivery. We look forward to a very successful future together."
