Imagem Music USA has signed a worldwide, multi-year co-publishing agreement with Los Angeles buzz band Hunter Hunted.
Dan Chang and Michael Garner weave intricate vocal harmonies and heart beat rhythms into voluminous, soaring songs that toe the line between California indie and folk rock. To say that
Hunter Hunted has accomplished a lot in a short amount of time would be an understatement. Since the band's inception in January 2013, they've been included in MTV's "Artists to Watch," Nylon Magazine's "Bands to Look Out For," Teen Vogue's "Jams of the Year," Billboard Magazine's "Scouting Report," and KCRW's "Bands We Love." With standout track "Keep Together" making the rounds on TV shows like The Vampire Diaries and The Real World, the band has performed everywhere from Conan to SXSW in addition to playing with Fitz and the Tantrums, Weezer, The Mowgli's, and an upcoming tour with FUN.
"We're very excited to join up with the Imagem team. Their enthusiasm and creativity is second to none, and we have no doubt they're going to be an incredible partner in this," commented Evan Winiker, Manager of Hunter Hunted.
"Hunter Hunted is one of the most exciting bands coming out of LA right now. Michael and Dan are both very talented writers and we're thrilled they've chosen to become a part of the Imagem Music family," said Molly Seel, A&R at Imagem Music.
