IHEARTCOMIX Presents LA Gives Back 3 On 12/19 Image

Today, LA GIVES BACK is proud to announce their 3rd installment of one epic night of giving on Wednesday December 19th! Between 2016 and 2017 the Los Angeles dance community came together to raise close to $120,000 for local charities and bring awareness to the homeless epidemic here in our backyard. Created by IHEARTCOMIX, the one-night event will consist of some of LA's most influential music curators coming together: the line-up includes rooms curated by Adult Swim, Emo Nite, Ninja Tune, Mad Decent, Brownies & Lemonade, Ham on Everything,Restless Nites and Late Night Laggers. The night will feature endless amounts of secret guests and big name talent. Happening in all live rooms of LA nightclub, Catch One (formerly Union), 100% of all proceeds raised will go to benefit the local charities Downtown Women's Center and My Friend's Place.

In addition to new partners and major name collaborations, IHEARTCOMIX is excited to launch Catch One's (formerly Union) brand new space Catch One Underground at LA Gives Back 3! They will also be hosting an online auction, offering a chance to win one-of-a-kind, priceless prizes by Korn, Eric Andre, Grumpy Cat, etc with all proceeds benefiting the participating charities.

Downtown Women's Center provides permanent supportive housing, skill-building workshops, and accessible healthcare to homeless women in Skid Row. Founded in 1978, the Downtown Women's Center's mission is to create a safe and healthy community to foster dignity, respect, and personal stability, and to advocate ending homelessness for women.

My Friend's Place assists and inspires homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives through a broad continuum of care including meals, employment and education assistance, case management and more. Founded in 1988, My Friend's Place serves nearly half of homeless youth in Los Angeles.

More information on the line-up to come, this will 100% sell out like last years so don't wait to buy tickets. Watch thishttp://www.restlessnites.com for updates!

IHEARTCOMIX' Franki Chan says: "LA GIVES BACK is exactly that, our community giving back. After the success of the last two years, we all decided that this needs to become an institution. It's so cool that so many of LA's top promoters, record labels and talent can come together and create one special night that draws attention to a huge crisis in our community.

For IHEARTCOMIX, this is our holiday party. I feel strongly that Los Angeles is the best city in the world for music and creative energy. Over the almost fifteen years that IHC has been here we've seen this town change so much for the better. It's not just the talent that is amazing, but the sense of community that makes it special and has drawn so many people here. However, the unplanned consequence of that growth has been the rise of the homeless population in LA. It's our responsibility to address this problem and fix it. In 2017 the homeless population grew 23% alone. As we grow, we must bring everyone up with us. Hopefully this event shows our city and the world that we can stand as one to create positive change."

"LA Gives Back has become a welcome holiday tradition for B&L. It's a way for world renowned artists and diehard fans alike to come together in unison and give to a very worthy cause that affects anyone living in Los Angeles." - Brownies & Lemonade

"As LA natives, it's always in our hearts to create ways for our community to thrive creatively and culturally. That's why teaming up with our peers to aid LA residents through our passion for music is an especially rewarding feeling for us. Last year's event was a dream for us to be a part of and this year we hope to go beyond and help even more people in need!" - Late Night Laggers

"Restless Nites is a tightly-curated list of crucial events based in Los Angeles & New York, and launching soon in San Francisco, Portland, and beyond. We aim to expose the best that nightlife has to offer, to a wider audience of music heads, art lovers, film buffs, and fashion freaks." - Restless Nites

"We love throwing parties, but if you have a platform and don't use It to bring awareness of issues in your own community then you're being irresponsible. The LA scene means EVERYTHING to us. And the fact that all of these amazing LA parties that make up the fabric of our scene can all come together, not only to raise awareness but to raise actual money to and create REAL change is incredibly moving. We're so proud to be a part of this. Last year exceeded our expectations 10 fold and we can't wait to see what this year's LA Gives Back has in store. We love our community, and this event is a beautiful representation in what "community" actually means." - Ham on Everything
