Houndmouth Release CALIFORNIA VOODOO EP Today

Houndmouth announce the release of a new four song EP titled California Voodoo, which is available now. The EP features demo versions of three songs from critically acclaimed current album Golden Age, plus one previously unreleased demo track. The demo versions of the songs reveal the original skeletal sketches; the contrasts between the blueprint and end results are fascinating on both ends of the spectrum. Collectively Houndmouth explains,
"This small collection of demos was recorded at various locations with ones we love dearly - we holed up in a Gatlinburg chalet (in Eastern, Tennessee), a studio on a Texas pecan farm (Sonic Ranch), and then back home in New Albany at the Green House again. They bring back memories that exist only in a reckless and juvenile time warp."
