Having last month announced the release of third album In Plain Sight - available May 24th via Marathon Artists - Honeyblood have today revealed "Glimmer" the second stunning track taken from the new record. Speaking about the impetus of the new song which comes complete with searing guitars and equally ferocious lyricism, Stina Tweeddale tells us the song is "about the wonders of women. They can be alluring and kind but also strong and badass so you better not double-cross them."
Honeyblood will also be returning to the US next month to play new songs for fans for the very first time with an all-new full live band. On April 22nd they will play Baby's All Right in Brooklyn and then The Echo in LA on April 23rd.
The third album sees Stina Tweeddale finding her most ambitious form and steely focus yet. Three albums in she has stepped forward to finally claim the mantle of the project she birthed seven years ago as a her sole vision. Stina takes the reigns in collaboration with none other than super-producer John Congleton (Angel Olsen, St Vincent, Sharon Van Etten) for the most definitive Honeyblood LP to date, consolidating the Glasgow-born band as one of the most important U.K. names.
In Plain Sight is out on May 24, 2019 via Marathon Artists and is available to pre-ordernow.
