Hippo Campus will be releasing their sophomore album Bambi this Friday on Grand Jury Music and today debuted another track to give fans a taste of what's to come. Guitarist/vocalist Nathan Stocker says of the song: "golden," formerly known as "polka dot socks," is a series of questions within a long-lasting relationship. the desire to scrap everything paired with the desire to keep it all intact. the journey in walking that fine line. the song was written quickly at the beginning of our demoing process, but it took a while to fashion it in a way that felt right. and we realized that there are no answers to the questions asked in the lyrics, but you have to ask them anyway."

The first single "Bambi" has already amassed millions of streams worldwide with Indie Shuffle raving about the song writing "The minimalistic chaos is beyond delightful... It's so utterly absurd and yet every last bit feels full of intention."
The band last week stopped by the Paste and Billboard studios to perform songs from Bambi in a special series of stripped down sessions and also played a private show in New York debuting songs from the LP for the first time. The intimate performance was a chance for fans to see the band before they embark on a major North American tour including a date at Terminal 5. All tour dates are listed below.
