BEAT100 is proud to announce the latest July 1st chart compilation results for the BEAT100 Cover Music Video Chart. UK based hip-hop producer, Configa, places first this month, claiming his third win in the BEAT100 charts following a previous first and second place ranking for his original tracks 'We On Fire' and 'Back 2 Basics'. This talented producer began his career as a battle rapper under the alias 'Unique', releasing his debut album in 2000 before rebranding himself as 'Configa' and embarking on his career as a producer.

Configa's style successfully emulates the sounds of hip-hop's 'Golden Era'; a period originating in the 80s and 90s, as the producer masterfully develops his beats while creatively selecting and editing his samples. Not only does the producer create top originals, such as 'We On Fire', but he's also gained popularity for his famous 2Pac remix album titled, 'Pac to the Essence', which he introduced to the BEAT100 community last month with a track from the album, his remix of 2Pac's 'Crooked N**ga Too'. BEAT100 fans raved over the charting cover, as it brilliantly resembles the sounds of 2Pac and traditional hip-hop, almost appearing an undiscovered release right from one of 2Pac's original albums.

Though having already received much attention worldwide, Configa says he's grateful for the fan base he's grown on BEAT100. "What an honour it is to have won both the Original and Cover charts in succession," says Configa, "I'd like to thank BEAT100 for giving me the platform to enable me to do so and for helping me to make some great friends along the way!"

In addition, Configa has also found BEAT100 an ideal platform for promoting hip-hop as well, as he says many potential fans still have a biased view towards the genre. Through hard work in promoting his tracks and creating top quality hip-hop music, Configa has quickly moved from 423rd to 1st place in the Cover Music Video Charts. "I have made many [music fans] into [hip-hop] converts," says Configa as he happily walks away with another successful BEAT100 chart win. In second place on the July 1st BEAT100 Cover Music Video Cover Chart: Charlee M receives a top ranking for her cover of Demi Lovato's song 'Warrior'. The German-based singer is a lover of house, pop, soul, country, and oldies and her vocal cover of 'Warrior' received over 11,000 views on the Cover Chart. Having acquired her love for singing at a young age, Charlee M now produces and records songs frequently on her popular YouTube Channel, charleemelody, which has already received over 1.3 million views and focuses on covering hit pop songs. BEAT100 members can follow Charlee M on BEAT100 for updates on her future cover releases and upcoming original material!

Finally, Ronnie Elvis claims third place this month with his quality cover of Elvis Presley's 'American Trilogy' performed live. Along with his great singing voice, Ronnie completes a full Elvis impersonation with his sideburns, hair, sunglasses, outfit, and stage moves, emulating the popular singer's style and entertaining BEAT100 fans along the way. Raised on gospel music and growing up performing in his choir, Ronnie plays the guitar, drums, and bass, while also contributing his soulful vocals to a variety of ensembles. The singer also loves performing Michael Jackson, the Bee Gees, and enjoys accompanying Christian groups as well.

Ronnie plans on releasing his own original CD in the near future, but meanwhile will continue to perform his covers while participating in his Elvis routine. "Music is in my blood and I love making people smile," he says. Sign up to follow Ronnie Elvis on BEAT100 to view his recent Elvis cover and to learn more about this BEAT100 chart winner.
