Hermitude -- multi-instrumentalists Luke Dubber (aka Luke Dubs) and Angus Stuart (aka El Gusto) -- recently performed and recorded tracks from their current album Dark Night Sweet Light in front of an intimate live audience at Sonos Studio Los Angeles. The session, hosted by Jason Bentley, will air tomorrow -- Friday, November 20 -- at 11:15 am PST on KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic.
The album is the follow-up to Hermitude's platinum-selling HyperParadise, with which the band won Australia's Music Prize: modeled after Britain's Mercury Music Prize and Canada's Polaris Prize, this Music Prize's single goal is to identify and reward the most outstanding creative Australian album of the year. The duo took the top honor over a shortlist of other talented artists, including Tame Impala, The Presets, and friend/collaborator Flume.
