Hermitude -- multi-instrumentalists Luke Dubber (aka Luke Dubs) and Angus Stuart (aka El Gusto) -- recently performed and recorded tracks from their current album Dark Night Sweet Light in front of an intimate live audience at Sonos Studio Los Angeles. The session, hosted by Jason Bentley, will air tomorrow -- Friday, November 20 -- at 11:15 am PST on KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic.

A beautifully inventive record of future beats and electronica, Dark Night Sweet Light (out now via Nettwerk) features guest appearances from Big KRIT, Estelle, Pell, and Chuck Inglish. The Aussie's album reached #1 on the CMJ RPM chart in the U.S., and debuted at #1 on the ARIA album chart in their home country. Dark Night Sweet Light is currently nominated for 7 ARIA awards including Album Of The Year, Best Group, and Best Live Act.

The album is the follow-up to Hermitude's platinum-selling HyperParadise, with which the band won Australia's Music Prize: modeled after Britain's Mercury Music Prize and Canada's Polaris Prize, this Music Prize's single goal is to identify and reward the most outstanding creative Australian album of the year. The duo took the top honor over a shortlist of other talented artists, including Tame Impala, The Presets, and friend/collaborator Flume.

The band recently completed a sold-out U.S. tour and will be returning to L.A. for a live performance at The Fonda Theatre with Keys N Krates on Feb. 20, 2016.

After airing on MBE, Hermitude's performance at Sonos Studio Los Angeles will be available in its entirety for video and audio streaming on-demand and in HD at KCRW.com.
