"Watching the resilience and strength of the people in my home state of Texas has been inspiring, as has watching the country come together to help those who have been so devastatingly affected by
Hurricane Harvey," said Carll. "I know firsthand what it is like to experience loss during a natural disaster and how far any bit of help goes. All net proceeds from my concert at
Bowery Ballroom will go to MusiCares to help the many musicians in Texas whose lives have been affected. Please come out for a night of music to help us support those who entertain and inspire us."
MusiCares has set up a fund that allows music people in crisis to quickly get the help they need. Assistance includes shelter, food, transportation, medical expenses, instrument and recording equipment replacement, relocation costs, debris removal, and more. If anyone you know requires assistance, please contact the MusiCares South Regional Office at
615-327-0050 or toll-free at
