Harry Styles to Star in His Own BBC Primetime Special This November

The BBC has announced that former One Direction bandmember Harry Styles will star in his own primetime special which will air on BBC One this November. The event will be hosted by Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw. According to the site, Styles will perform songs from his self-titled number one debut album and speak with Grimshaw about his success as a solo artist and his burgeoning career in acting. The show will be shot before a live studio audience in Manchester, England.

Guy Freeman, editor of special events and formats at BBC Studios shared, "Harry is a great performer and full of so many wonderful stories about his extraordinary career, which he'll be sharing with us."

He continued, "These shows are all about creating a world in which superstars like Harry feel incredibly comfortable and alongside their brilliant, live performances, can simply have fun and enjoy revealing more of themselves to viewers than is ever normally possible."

Styles continues a successful line of superstars who have had their own TV special on the BBC, including Adele and Michael Buble.
