Hannah Wicklund & The Steppin Stones Release Self Titled Album Today Image

The self-titled album from HANNAH WICKLUND & THE STEPPIN STONES--fronted by 20-year-old powerhouse Hannah Wicklund--is out today, January 26 (via her Strawberry Moon imprint) on a wave of praise from such outlets as Guitar Player, Relix, Guitar World and the weekly Nashville Scene (*see pull quotes below). Notably, the album's lead single "Bomb Through The Breeze" was just added to the top of the 'Fierce Femmes' playlist on Spotify.

Listen to HANNAH WICKLUND & THE STEPPIN STONES via the following platforms: iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music.
Recently, Premier Guitar premiered the second single, "Ghost" and Kate Koenig raved that "...the 20-year-old's stage presence and guitar playing is pure voltage...on 'Ghost'...Wicklund's scarlet-toned vocals drip over a steady blues-rock groove punctuated by gnawing electric guitar."Click here to listen to "Ghost" via Spotify.
Produced by Sadler Vaden, guitarist for Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, the album--an aural kaleidoscope of blazing guitars and searing vocals, all of which establish Wicklund as a triple-threat player, singer and writer--was recorded in Nashville and is a fresh take on WICKLUND's musical influences drawn from '60s & '70s guitar-driven rock. "Once we started writing some songs, I saw that she had a real, raw talent," says producer Vaden. "I was inspired to work with her by her love of classic rock music and blues. I wanted to honor that in making this album, but also add a little modern edge to it."
HANNAH WICKLUND AND THE STEPPIN STONES--who've played over 2,000 shows including notable festival appearances--are in the middle of an overall 50-date2018 "Sibling Rivalry" tour with The High Divers, stopping in major cities such as New York, Austin, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. Tickets are on sale for all three legs of the tour now (see all tour dates below). For more information and to purchase tickets, visit: https://www.hannahwicklund.com/
