Gypsy Temple is the second coming of Alt Rock. Cameron Lavi-Jones and his band offer an unstoppable, dynamic live show that brings the audience to their knees - and then lifts them up to the roof. The Seattle-based five-piece pour their souls into their melodically driven songs while ripping guitar and electric cello represent their hometown's alt-rock history. Often called the 'Mighty" Gypsy Temple, this band reflects the resurgence of youth-driven alt-rock that made Seattle famous in the 1990s while remaining fresh.
Lead vocalist / guitarist Lavi-Jones and his bandmates Wilson Rahn (guitars), Cory Cavazos (electric cello), Kai Hill (drums) and Hamoon "Moon" Milaninia (bass) teamed up multi-gold record producer Phillip Peterson (A$AP Rocky, Portugal the Man, Pink, Maroon 5) to craft their undeniable, arresting debut LP King Youngblood.
Gypsy Temple's lyrics are steeped in a youth driven understanding of the human struggle and the inevitable revelations that come from that struggle. Gypsy Temple's leader Lavi-Jones is first and foremost a highly charged storyteller and showman. Sonically, what sets Gypsy Temple further apart from the usual bass / drums / guitar rock band is the full-time integration of cello and the wild abandon the band's live show is known for.
