The Grammy Winning instrumental collective, Snarky Puppy, are set for two performances in New York this week and are gearing up for their upcoming fall tour. Led by bassist, composer and producer Michael League, the band released their first major label album Sylva on 5/26 via Impluse!/Universal Music Classics which reached #1 on the Heatseekers Chart, #1 Top Current Jazz Album, and #1 Contemporary Jazz Album.
While Sylva was recorded and filmed live in its entirety with the Metropole Orkest,
Snarky Puppy will tour on their own, performing songs from their critically acclaimed We Like It Here and more. Be sure to catch the collective live in New York City and in a city near you as they hit the road this fall.
