Grammy-nominated musician Grace Potter announced today THE LINEUP for the 2018 Grand Point North music festival set to take place September 15 and 16 at Burlington, Vermont's Waterfront Park. Joining Potter on this year's lineup are Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, The Magpie Salute, Caroline Rose, Darlingside, Mt. Joy, Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds and Greg Holden.
Continuing its tradition of showcasing homegrown talent, this year's lineup will also include a strong representation of acts making their mark on the Burlington, Vermont music scene. Local and regional bands performing this year include Seth Yacovone Band, West End Blend, Harsh Armadillo, Clever Girls, JUPTR, Julia Caesar and Miku Daza.
"I've been looking forward to announcing this years lineup! I learn so much every year as we continue to explore musical corners we haven't covered yet," said Potter. "This year came together so beautifully. I can't wait to share in this with everyone."
For the sixth year in a row, Grace Potter will partner with Seven Days, Vermont's free, alternative newsweekly, to give fans a chance to choose one lucky Vermont musician or band to kick off this year's Grand Point North festival. The nomination period and voting are set to take place in July. All fans that vote will have the chance to win two weekend passes to this year's Grand Point North festival.
