Governors Ball Announces Food and Beverage Lineup

Founders Entertainment is excited to announce The Governors Ball Music Festival food & beverage program for the upcoming 2019 festival, held May 31st-June 2nd at Randall's Island Park in New York City. Festival attendees will be treated to a high-caliber NYC food experience that rivals the music hitting the stage, including some of the city's hottest food vendors and one-time-only food collaborations and experiences.

In between mind-blowing sets from performers including Tyler, the Creator, Florence + the Machine, The Strokes, Lil Wayne, Kacey Musgraves, Nas, and Major Lazer, festival goers can refuel with delicious eats from some of the most in-demand food vendors that the New York City food scene has to offer. This year's hottest collaborations include a doughnut & fried chicken slider from Doughnuttery X The Nugget Spot, fried pickles from Big Mozz X Grillo's Pickles, the all-vegan "Gov Ball & Beyond" Taco Ball from Arancini Bros, Tots & Queso from Melt Shop X King David Tacos, and an Affogato from RISE Brewing Co X Davey's Ice Cream. Other new and exciting vendors to keep an eye out for include Cousins Maine Lobster making all your lobster dreams come true, Mekelburg's, with chocolate babka Menschkins and a hot chicken sandwich that tastes like you're in Nashville, Milk & Cream Cereal Bar serving that sweet tooth with soft-serve topped with your favorite childhood breakfast morsels, and Walter's Hot Dogs, a local institution serving world famous split-and-grilled hot dogs since 1919.

"Our team hand selects each and every vendor and are incredibly proud to present the full lineup-and particularly our 2019 new releases and mashup collaborations, a first for the festival. Beyond the free water stations throughout the festival grounds, there will also be a number of areas to refresh and rehydrate, with everything from Matcha Tea at MatchaBar, to fresh juices at John's Juice and mouth puckering lemonade at Renegade Lemonade. For 21+ attendees who are looking to chill out with an ice cold beverage, the 2019 Gov Ball cocktail program will feature specially curated craft cocktails by all your favorites. The Bacardi Bay will be serving up their famed Gov Ball Punch and brand new frozen Piña Coladas. The Best Kept Secret area will play

host to Pablo Honey cocktails from Tito's Vodka, Frosé delights from Campo Viejo, a classic Paloma from Tequila Don Julio, Aperol Spritz, Jameson & Coffee cocktails for those that need a little pick me up, and much more. And don't miss the action at the Bud Light Dive Bar, new to Gov Ball this year, along with an enhanced craft beer selection, pairing your favorite brews with the best bites New York has to offer. Classic, craft, sour, sweet - Gov Ball's Brews will have something for everyone.

And new for 2019, a visit to Gov Ball won't be complete without a stop at the Gov Ball Bodega, which will serve as the spot to pick up everything from drinks and snacks to sunscreen and chapstick, and of course, a classic New York Bagel. The Gov Ball Bodega will also be the homebase for Gov Ball's new sustainability initiative: patrons who collect a full (festival-issued) bag of recyclable cans or bottles from the festival grounds can redeem the recyclables at the Bodega for a reusable Gov Ball branded water bottle.
