NYC's SKATERS reveal their new video for "Head On To Nowhere" today with Paste Magazine. A tongue-and-cheek, no-punches-pulled take on their major label experience and looking back at the first three years of being a band, the video features a record label exec in a gorilla suit as the band operates on a pizza budget. The band pokes fun at their journey, acknowledging that they're now the classic record industry cliche. Highlighted by fuzzed out guitar riffs and an energetic anthemic peak, the track was previously revealed with Consequence of Sound alongside a candid Q&A about their decision to go DIY.

"I was going through one of my existential periods and was feeling really unhappy with the all the paths that supposedly lead to happiness. Go left, go right, stay home, go out; what's the difference? I had this unique discontent for any place I found myself, and wished I could just actually go nowhere. If I could find that solitude I would be happy. That's the cheery story of how I wrote "Head Onto Nowhere'"
- Michael Ian Cummings (SKATERS)

Since forming in 2012 SKATERS have built a solid reputation as a youthful, creative, energetic guitar-laden post-punk rock band. After relentless touring across the globe, critical acclaim, and impressive radio momentum both in the U.S., UK and Australia, the band parted ways with WB Records at the end of 2015. With their reclaimed freedom, they dug in and started writing in their NYC studio and have since released the tracks "Save Her Something Special" and "Mental Case" along with an accompanying video featuring Arrested Development star, Alia Shawkat.
