Los Angeles's legendary ska punk band Goldfinger have announced a string of shows throughout the midwest and the west coast to take place this September and October. A portion of the dates will be supporting punk icons NoFX and Bad Religion. The string of shows kick off September 9 at The Rave in Milwaukee, WI and conclude October 15 at Booney Field in Sacramento, CA.
The announcement of these shows follows the release of their long awaited seventh The Knife via Rise Records in July. The Knife features a host of special guests including guest vocals from Blink-182's Mark Hoppus, 311 lead-singer Nick Hexum, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones guitarist Nate Albert ("Get What I Need") on guitar, Twenty One Pilots' Josh Dun on drums ("Orthodontist Girl"), and ONE OK ROCK's Takahiro Moriuchi, amongst others. AllMusic says The Knife "strikes a balance of thoughtful introspection and gunslinging punk enthusiasm" and Substream touts the album as "perfectly showcasing Feldmann's punk ethos and vulnerability, while still sticking true to the spirit and excitement that allowed the band to rise to incredible heights." The band celebrated the release of The Knifeby playing select dates of this year's Vans Warped Tour in early August.
