Australia's Gold Fields have set out on their very first headline tour across North America! The 30-date tour sees the band hitting the road to headline shows with Rush Midnight as support across the U.S. and Canada in support of their debut album Black Sun (released Feb 2013).
Black Sun was met with critical acclaim upon its release earlier this year, garnering the synth-pop five-piece "Artist to Watch" status from both Billboard and MTV and praise from folks such as The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Alternative Press, and late night television performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and
Last Call with Carson Daly. Putting their special touch on Sir Sly's track "Gold", fans can check out the

By juxtaposing light and darkness,
Gold Fields imbues even its most ebullient tunes with melancholy-and vice-versa. Interplay of layers, textures, and contrasting moods figures prominently throughout "Black Sun," with each song on the album boasting a distinctive identity. For a taste of Gold Fields' explosive live show check out the band performing live in NYC earlier this year via
MTV. Or better yet, join
