Global Sensation PIKOTARO, a singer and songwriter from Chiba, Japan has
Taken the globe by storm with his infectious PPAP song. With his kinky perm, sunglasses and animal print outfit his YouTube video "Pen Pineapple Apple Pen" (PPAP) has been seen over 600 million times across YouTube which began October 7th 2016th on his Japanese label AVEX.

Taking his international hit one step further the Japanese pop star and Comedian today releases a mash-up with the legendary theme song to the 1984 film hit Beverly Hills Cop - "Axel F." named after Eddie Murphy's classic character Axel Foley.

"PPAP" all started when PIKOTARO posted the song on YouTube by himself. The word spread from teenage girls to international media creating a buzz which had TIME, BBC, CNN and other global media in Europe, US, and Asia take notice of the sensation which resulted the song being covered by numerous media around the world. Since its debut PPAP has had approximately 450 million total plays on world wide streaming sites and has been number 1 for three consecutive weeks on "You Tube Music Global top 100.
