Grammy®nominated and multi-platinum R&B superstar GIVĒON drops new song entitled "Time". The track is written by Drake, GIVĒON and Daniel Pemberton. Pemberton also produced the record with Jahaan Sweet. It heralds the arrival of the Amsterdam Original Motion Picture out October 7.

Amsterdam produced by 20th Century Studios and New Regency, directed by Academy® Award-nominated filmmaker David O. Russell, and starring Academy Award® winner Christian Bale, John David Washington, Margot Robbie, Chris Rock, Taylor Swift, Zoe Saldana, Rami Malek and more.

"Time" notably includes the melodic theme of the film's original score by Academy® Award-nominated composer Daniel Pemberton [The Trial of the Chicago 7]. Setting the mood immediately, its stunning woodwind suite and sweeping piano seamlessly entwine with GIVĒON's undeniable baritone. Meanwhile, dialogue from the film tops off the track with a message of treasuring the bond of friendship no matter what.

From 20th Century Studios, New Regency, and acclaimed filmmaker David O. Russell comes "Amsterdam," an original crime epic about three close friends who find themselves at the center of one of the most shocking secret plots in American history.

A fascinating and richly intricate tale that brilliantly weaves historical fact with fiction for a timely, cinematic experience, the film stars Academy Award® winner Christian Bale, two-time Academy Award® nominee Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Alessandro Nivola, Andrea Riseborough, Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Rock, Matthias Schoenaerts, Academy Award® nominee Michael Shannon, Mike Myers, Taylor Swift, Timothy Olyphant, Zoe Saldaña, with Oscar winner Rami Malek and two-time Academy Award winner Robert De Niro.

Written and directed by five-time Oscar® nominee David O. Russell, "Amsterdam" is produced by Arnon Milchan, Matthew Budman, p.g.a., Anthony Katagas, p.g.a., David O. Russell, p.g.a., and Christian Bale, with Yariv Milchan, Michael Schaefer, Sam Hanson, Drake, and Adel "Future" Nur serving as executive producers.

GIVĒON has always used his raw, evocative songwriting to mine a confusing world for answers, and that approach has connected to the tune of over 1 billion global streams and nearly 1 billion YouTube views thus far. But, lately he's been fixed on a problem he can't solve.

As he puts it, "Sometimes the truth is rewarded, and sometimes it's frowned upon. Does a little deception make us feel better?" This sort of tension is at the heart of GIVĒON's work. His debut album Give or Take shows off the emotional curiosity and deep warmth of his songs over cinematic R&B arrangements.

This sensitivity and love for storytelling traces back to his upbringing in Long Beach, CA, where his mother shielded him and his brothers from the area's gang culture and encouraged him to sing. After years of hustle, he bonded with producer Sevn Thomas (Drake, Rihanna) in 2019 and placed "Chicago Freestyle" on Drake's 2020 mixtape Dark Lane Demo Tapes.

GIVĒON's March 2020 debut EP Take Time held his first top 40 Hot 100 hit, "Heartbreak Anniversary," and by March 2021, his When It's All Said and Done... Take Time compilation debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 (It's since gone Platinum, and highlight "All to Me" went Gold-his 10th RIAA certification).

Since then, the seven-time Grammy nominee has been forging connections in person on tour, and he's been hard at work writing Give or Take. Its arrival shows just how much he's grown, both as an introspective songwriter and an empathetic human being.
