Gigi Rowe Shares Bruce Springsteen 'Dancing In The Dark' Cover w/ BlackBook Image

Revered for her bold sense of style, Miami-based pop starlet Gigi Rowe shares her cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing In The Dark" with BlackBook. Produced by PJ Bianco (A R I Z O N A, Fifth Harmony, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas), Gigi slows down the tempo and serenades us with a heartfelt, emotive version of the track, recalling similarities to the likes of Cyndi Lauper, Gloria Estefan / Miami Sound Machine, and Shalamar. She comments:

"It's hard to write something about this song because the song says it all. Honestly I had no idea what it was about until I sang it, and then realized it's not about one thing, it's about everything. Life, the struggle, what it means to be alive and particularly, what it feels like to be an artist. But this is a Bruce Springsteen song, so of course it's epic. And I probably feel an extra special connection having been born and raised in New Jersey."

Gigi Rowe released her Stardust Motel EP on October 27th, highlighted by buzzing synths and hypnotic beats. Lead single "Got That," whose official video just clocked inover one million views, was selected to include in Ubisoft's Just Dance 2018 alongside a series of A-List artists - her inclusion showcased her undeniable knack for crafting infectious dance-pop gems. To date, she has garnered acclaim from the likes ofHuffington Post, NYLON, Galore, and LADYGUNN.

Following a packed performance at Rock In Rio's Game XP and an interview featured on the #1 Brazilian TV channel earlier, Gigi continues to turn heads on the global scale. Stay tuned as she prepares for a number of diverse releases in 2018!
