The powerhouse of rock, Get The Led Out aka "America's Led Zeppelin" will perform classic Zeppelin at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Friday, October 4, at 8 p.m. These talented musicians will pay homage to the legendary band that created the hits "Ten Years Gone", "When the Levee Breaks", not to mention the classic "Stairway to Heaven" in their high-energy concert, a must for diehard Led Zeppelin fans. This event is part of the xfinity Rock Series.
The six accomplished musicians in Get the Led Out are intent on delivering Led Zeppelin's studio recordings, with all the bells and whistles, to the concert stage. They use multiple instruments to recreate songs with the studio overdubs that Zeppelin himself never even performed live. This approach separates Get the Led Out from all other Zeppelin acts.
The Patriot News in Pennsylvania raved: "Get The Led Out didn't just pass Zeppelin 101 with flying colors - - they're working on their Ph.D. They didn't just do their Zep homework -- they're teaching the class".
For tickets ($45), call the box office (203) 438-5795, or order online at ridgefieldplayhouse.org. The Ridgefield Playhouse is a not-for-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield, CT; ridgefieldplayhouse.org.
