After coming to prominence with the hit "What's It To You," and then reeling off a string of #1 hits, Walker was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Not letting that set him back, he has continued touring and recording steadily since the diagnosis and is well-known for his high-energy concerts and performance style. He's also raised $2 million in support of the MS cause. Clay has had four platinum albums, two gold albums, and 11 #1 singles to date.
Born in Texas and raised with an abiding respect for a wide spectrum of American roots music, Scaggs has combined rock, jazz, R&B and blues to create a trademark sound. His extensive and distinctive career spans 30 years and many accolades, with such memorable hits as "Lido Shuffle," "Lowdown," and others that will be showcased in his first performance at the Gallo Center since 2012. Scagg's latest album, "A Fool to Care," will be released March 31.
