Concerts by singers Art Garfunkel and Chris Isaak have been added to the Gallo Center for the Arts' 2014-2015 season. Garfunkel's show is at 7:30 pm on Monday, November 10, while Isaak takes the stage at 8 pm on Friday November 28.

Tickets for Garfunkel's show are on sale now, priced $39 - $79. Issak tickets are $49 - $99, and go on sale to the public on Saturday, October 18. Tickets may be purchased online at www.galloarts.org, by calling (209) 338-2100, or from the Gallo Center ticket office at 1000 I Street in downtown Modesto.

Blessed with what the New York Times described as a "beautiful countertenor," Garfunkel was one half of arguably the most famous and successful duo in pop music history, Simon and Garfunkel. He remains revered for the Grammy Award-winning, chart-topping songs, including "Mrs. Robinson," "Scarborough Fair," "The Sound of Silence," "The Boxer" and "Bridge Over Troubled Water," that he recorded with former partner and fellow New York City native Paul Simon.

Isaak, a native of Stockton where he graduated from Amos Alonzo Stagg High School and the University of Pacific, came to fame following the release the album "Heart Shaped World," when director David Lynch used his song "Wicked Game" for the 1991 film "Wild at Heart." A self-taught guitar player, Isaak's early influences were Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison. Other hits include "Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing" and "Life Will Go On."
