The creator of the world's best selling song in Dance Music History, Darude launches "Crazy World" on iTunes today. Put out as GP Music's inaugural release, the Pop Dance track features 2AM vs. Darude feat: Georgia Haege. Reinvigorating the main synth from Bananarama's "Cruel Summer", "Crazy World" serves it up with a New-Retro twist, reviewers are calling "Full of energy!!" (24/7 Dance Radio USA).

"Crazy World" is the brainchild of Darude's long-time agent, GP Music Founder and Golden Record recipient, Diane Cheadle and recognized producer Jay Singh. A successful POP Vocal foray for the Producer DJ Known best for Instrumental Trance tracks like "Sandstorm" and "In the Darkness", "Crazy World" is being cheered as a "Great collaboration with fantastic delivery of the vocals and very strong lyrics describing our way of living today" (Dimitri).

GP Music, a sub label of Cheadle's, Unlimited Sounds, is a division of international "beat-n-buzz" marketing shop, GLOBAL POINT Agency; an organization for which she also serves as Vice President. "Jay and I were sitting in the studio one evening struggling to get a singer ready for a major label," explains Cheadle. "Also dealing with some recent personal blows, it seemed all was crazy in the world; nothing made sense and I just wanted to find a way to make it all work again." Her solution came in the form of a dance song for which they commissioned celebrated songwriter Starr Blackshere and relative new-comer Georgia Haege. Darude remixed the track, establishing his as the lead version, and his role as co-producer. 2AM brought the big POP sound he's bestowed most recently to the music of Rihanna, Usher and Katy Perry.

"I loved the vocals from the very beginning, and found using that throw-back Bananarama song to be quite fitting", Darude exclaimed. "It's summer vibes cleverly meshed with some more sobering bittersweet lyrics. I am very happy to be a part of this project."

"Crazy World" has already been locked for radio play with over 30 US radio stations including SIRIUS, AOL Radio and more; following its Worldwide release to Beatport on Dec 6, 2010. "Crazy World" has also been signed to DRD Music (Finland) via Warner Distribution; insuring a solid promotion in the Nordic regions of Finland, Norway and Sweden. The song is currently charting and climbing at #3 in Ireland, #12 on Masspool, and #43 on DMC Underground World charts.
