Future Roots Octet To Release New Studio Material, 8/24

On Friday, August 24th, progressive reggae band John Brown's Body performs at The Abbey Pub (3420 W. Grace St.). The octet will be releasing new studio material this fall. johnbrownsbody.com.

In the past three years, John Brown's Body has completed first-ever tours of New Zealand, the UK, and Europe. Their latest album, Amplify, debuted at #1 on Billboard's Reggae Chart.

"We have a bunch of new music in the works... six dubs and an unreleased fan favorite will be coming out this fall. They were mixed in Boston, by former JBB engineer Craig "Dub Fader" Welsch (10 Ft.
